Solution Architect Oracle Hyperion Planning & Essbase (w/m)
Job description:
We are looking for an experienced Professional who possesses Hyperion Planning technical design and configuration skills within the performance reporting and planning areas. As Solution Architect Oracle Hyperion Planning & Essbase, you will lead projects with overall responsibilities including: definition of requirements including current state analysis, architecting a solution with the Hyperion Planning software, redesigning reporting and planning processes, and change management and training of client staff and ensuring that new system and processes are implemented successfully.
You will be required to:
· lead executive workshops to identify key business metrics and processes,
· define planning and reporting requirements,
· design and develop planning models,
· create better practices within planning, forecasting and reporting processes, and
· implement new performance reporting, planning and forecasting processes within the
Oracle/Hyperion Planning toolset.
The candidate will serve on client engagements acting within a Hyperion Planning Solution Architect role, and will be responsible for project delivery using formal implementation methodologies.
Who we are looking for
· Bachelor's Degree
· Hyperion Planning and ODI certification
· Minimum 5 years experience in designing and implementing Performance Reporting and
Planning solutions for large multinational companies
· Minimum 5 years advanced technical expertise with the Oracle Hyperion Planning, Essbase,
FDM, and DRM tools.
· Minimum 5 years experience in at least two formal implementations of Oracle Hyperion Planning
(System 9 preferred) and Essbase solutions in a multicurrency environment including designing
and configuring Planning application components: databases, business rules, data load rules,
calc scripts, reports, security and process management modules
· Minimum 5 years experience in analyzing requirements, writing functional specifications,
preparing and leading executive workshops, interfacing with business users, conducting tests,
troubleshooting issues
· Experience with the building of Essbase ASO and BSO databases and partitioning.
· Experience with the management of Hyperion Planning and Essbase metadata and data
including load, refresh, archiving, back-up and restore processes as well as the automation of
these processes.
· Strong ODI/Oracle DW skills with Hyperion EPMA experience, including experience in EPMA
metadata design and build, in SQL data load optimization and in configuring the ODI tool in a
Hyperion environment
· Experience with the Oracle/Hyperion BI+ toolset: OBIEE, Web Analysis, Financial Reporting
and SmartView
· Candidates must exhibit strong analytical, problem solving, verbal and written communication
skills
· Sound understanding of key IT / Business systems including ERP, General Ledger,
Reporting & Analytics, Data Warehousing, CRM, etc.
· Readiness to travel 50% annually
· Public Sector Planning (PSP) experience is an advantage
· Experience with ETL tool process design and implementation would be an advantage.
· English : Native Speaker / Proficient written and spoken
